AKA: The other vampire with a soul. After being re-corporealized by unknown means at Wolfram & Hart, Spike took off for regions as yet unknown. His goal: find Buffy again.

When he realized he couldn't go back to her, he found himself wandering. At a loss when left to his own ends, he ended up in Corpus Christi, Texas during a pit stop on his way back to California. It was there that he crossed paths with a clueless young woman, fighting for her life against a vampire and losing.

Stepping in, Spike not only saved the girl's life, but after a moment of watching her slam the offending vampire against a wall, realized he was likely dealing with a baby Slayer. Opening her eyes to the truth, he endured her denial and insults patiently and waited until she finally accepted what she was being told.

Before he knew it, he'd been formally introduced to one Baileigh Solis, offered a place to stay, and ensnared as her personal guide and mentor in all things supernatural. Eventually, Spike fell into a routine and developed a certain brotherly affection for Baileigh, as well as a fondness for the steady supply of blood and free license to watch his soaps at leisure. He hunts, he guides...and as much as he hates to admit it, has finally found a place where he truly belongs.
